Values in Action: Giving Thanks for Humanity

Welcome to the 4th Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Meal Packing Project Website!

What: Led by the Harvard Chaplains, religious and nonreligious communities and individuals from across the greater Boston area are working together to help end hunger in New England. Through a collaboration with EndHungerNE, we are raising $12,500 to package 50,000 meals for local Boston area food banks. All meals will be packaged by volunteers on Sunday, November 24 from 12 PM – 6 PM. This event is open to any individual or community who is interested in participating in this day of interfaith service. See below for how you and/or your community can get involved:

  • Help us raise $12,500 to provide 50,000 meals for local Boston area food banks.
  • Volunteer on November 24 to help pack meals, meet people from diverse backgrounds, and learn what drives people from various nonreligious and religious perspectives to serve. Sign up for an hour or however long you wish to serve on November 24. Click here for more details on what the event will look like!

Location: The Student Organization Center at Hilles (SOCH) – 59 Shepard St., Cambridge MA 02138.
